4 DOs and DONTs of hair removal waxing

DOs

1. Make sure area is clean, dry, and free of oils, makeup, or lotions before applying wax. A small amount of talcum powder prior to applying wax is highly recommended.

2. Be sure hair length is at least 1/4″ long. Previously shaved hair should be at least 1/2″ long since it will be strong and resistant.

3. Study the direction of hair growth. Always spread VidaSleek in the direction of hair growth and remove the strip in the opposite direction in one quick motion.

4. Apply wax in a very thin layer using the edge of the spatula.

DONTs

1. Don’t apply hot wax on your skin- Wax should be warm and spreadable.

2. Don’t pull the strip up and away from the skin, instead keep it as close and parallel to the skin as possible.

3. Don’t use VidaSleek on moles, enlarged varicose veins, sunburned skin or recent scar tissue.

4. Don’t use directly after shower, sun exposure or on sensitized skin.
